Starhorse Arthro-Med, 500 g

The GAGs (glycosaminoglycans) used in STARHORSE® Arthro-Med are obtained from New Zealand food-grade green-lipped mussel powder and therefore fulfil the highest quality guidelines.

STARHORSE® Arthro-Med is nutritional-physiological support for the normal function of joint cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joint capsule and synovial fluid. In order to maintain the elasticity of the musculoskeletal system, the organism must continuously produce glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). Among other things, connective tissue and joint cartilage naturally have the ability to absorb GAGs (through fluid) and break them down again under stress or pressure.

With increased stress (sport horses), as foals grow up and as horses get older, the need for GAGs increases considerably, and the organism can only partially cover this need. This can result in signs of degeneration of the musculoskeletal system in the form of cartilage and joint damage, joint inflammation and tendonitis.

Thanks to its excellent composition, STARHORSE® Arthro-Med not only ensures a targeted supply of glycosaminoglycans to the musculoskeletal system, but also provides the important vitamins required for optimum absorption in the body. To ensure a good taste, STARHORSE® Arthro-Med has been refined with a light apple-pear flavour. This flavouring and the powder form (not the conventional pellet form) make STARHORSE® Arthro-Med very easy to feed and therefore optimally absorbed by horses.

QUALITY NOTE:
GAGs can only develop their effect as pure mussel extract. Products consisting only of mussel powder have hardly any effect and are therefore cheap but not effective. STARHORSE® Arthro-Med therefore only contains pure mussel extract.
