Description
Stress in horses can have an effect on the liver, bile drainage and digestion. Among other things, contaminated basic feed, worm treatments, vaccinations, and medication can contribute to strain on the liver.
Flavourings, preservatives, and binders can also have a negative effect. The liver plays an essential role in a harmonised metabolism. Problems with the liver can contribute to lower performance, fatigue, and immune deficiency.
Herbals and plants containing bitter substances are therefore an essential part of a balanced diet for horses, as they contribute to liver function.
With No. 5 Spring Awakening, Dr. Weyrauch has developed a supplement based on artichokes and milk thistle. Carefully selected herbs and plants containing bitter substances are embedded in this formula to provide important micronutrients and secondary plant substances.
Feeding recommendation:
- Feed 20-30 g (= 2-3 scoops) No. 5 Spring Awakening per horse, daily.
Please note that No. 5 Spring Awakening is not a mineral mixture. To provide your horse with the minerals it needs, you can mix No. 5 Spring Awakening with No. 1 Alles fliest, No. 2 Standfest, No. 4 Gold Value, No. 19 Mordskerl, No. 21 Strong Bones or No. 28 Sandmann.
