A need-based supply of amino acids is particularly important for breeding and sport horses. For sport horses, amino acids contribute to the growth, supply and maintenance of muscle mass. Broodmares and the unborn foals need amino acids for growth and development.

Derby's Aminotope promotes strength and relaxation. The pelleted formula contains only organic amino acid compounds.

Feeding recommendation:
(Daily data in grams/day as a supplement to non-vitaminized and mineralized rations with sufficient roughage to supply with amino acids)

  • Horses (600 kg) 200 g / day *
  • Ponies (300 kg) 100 g / day *
  • Broodmares (600 kg) 200 g / day **
  • Broodmares (600 kg) 1st nursing month 400 g / day **

* Please note the content of amino acids from the horse's normal feed. For performance horses may have slightly increased needs.
** If DERBY Breeding is used as a concentrate during pregnancy and nursing, the specified daily amount must be reduced.
