A movable ring means greater mobility of the teeth in the mouth. The snaffle bit is for horses that prefer a more "mobile" bit in the mouth. The ring runs very evenly in the copper sockets of the mouthpiece and increases the service life of the bit considerably due to its better durability.

The tongue bow bar has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This gives the tongue optimal space. Many horses react to this with improved ease and increased chewing activity.

This mouthpiece is therefore ideally suited for horses that are reluctant to tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react by banging the head or the like. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called 'tongue players' who try to stretch their tongue over the bit, as the arch effectively prevents this.
