Description
The twitch is used to temporarily restrain horses during treatments or examinations. The loop is placed over the horse's upper lip and twisted closed. By applying pressure to acupuncture points, endorphins are released, helping to reduce pain.
Caution: The twitch should always be held during use so that it can be released quickly. It should be used for a maximum of 5 - 10 minutes.
