Description

The Equigard Classic is ideally suited for feeding easy-to-feed or overweight horses. The pellets contain approx. 80% less starch and sugar than normal oats. This means that horses that are sensitive to metabolism can be fed with low energy consumption.

Vital substances such as magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, omega-3 fatty acids, lecithin and antioxidants such as vitamin E and fruit flavonoids can help carbohydrate and fat metabolism.

Equigard is also ideally suited as "standing food".

Grain-free and molasses-free pellets (gently cold-pressed)
Very low starch and sugar content
Rich in low glycemic fibre, with herbs, seaweed, oils and oil fruits
Special mineralisation to stabilise the carbohydrate and fat metabolism
Moderate copper content to improve the zinc-copper ratio

Feeding recommendation:

As a supplement to the basic forage supply with roughage and/or pasture grass.

From an amount of approx. 200 - 350g per 100kg bodyweight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary.

The total amount should be offered in several rations.

In the case of lower dosages or supply deficits, we recommend adding Glucogard or MicroVital.

Combine with structural energetics and vegetable oils if there is an increased energy requirement (for performance horses)
