General nutritional findings:
Calcium: Very important for the body. It is, among other things, a basic building material for bones and teeth, part of the blood coagulation and wound healing process, and stabilises the nerve cells.
Phosphorus: As ATP (adenosine triphosphate, the energy molecule in the organism), it plays the most important role in the energy metabolism and is a component of the DNA, and phosphorus is also involved in buffering processes in the organism
Magnesium: Stimulates many enzymes in the energy metabolism of the nerve tracts and is therefore necessary for trouble-free stimulus processing. A lack of magnesium can lead to difficulty concentrating and nervousness.
Vitamin A: Important for many metabolic processes. A deficiency in vitamin A affects the visual process, the ability to reproduce, the protection of the skin and mucous membranes as well as the immune system
Vitamin D3: Present in active form as a hormone in the organism, necessary for metabolic processes with potassium, phosphorus and vitamin A, serves as a support for the immune response of the white blood cells, and vitamin D can curb uncontrolled tissue growth.
Vitamin E: Protects substances sensitive to oxidation, including hormones and saturated fatty acids. Vitamin E transports oxygen to the muscle cells. Oxygen is important for the muscles to use energy. If there is a lack of oxygen in the muscle cell, lactic acid is produced as a by-product during energy production. Excessive lactic acid content in the muscles can lead to acidification.
Vitamin B1: Also called thiamine, intervenes in the processes of energy metabolism and the transmission of stimuli.
Vitamin B2: Is from the group of coenzymes that are important for the metabolic processes in the cell for carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Thus, vitamin B2 has an influence on energy production, the breakdown of homocysteine and tissue growth
Vitamin B6: forms the basis for the smooth running of protein and energy metabolism and therefore for maintaining an adequate blood sugar level. Vitamin B6 influences the formation of neurotransmitters. A balanced hormone level is crucial for a balanced and efficient psyche
Biotin: Is of central importance in keeping the hoof, skin and hair healthy. Biotin is the regulator in the cornification process of skin and hair and strengthens the structure of the hoof horn.
Nicotinic Acid: A form of niacin. Niacin is important for the synthesis of carnitine, choline, adrenaline and melatonin, among other things. Indispensable for trouble-free brain function, serves as a source of sulfur. Sulfur is required, among other things, to build up cysteine and taurine, to bind complexes to heavy metals and to build up tissue
Pantothenic acid : See vitamin B6
Iodine: Essential for the formation of thyroid hormones. Acts as an antioxidant, has a positive effect on the immune system and lipid metabolism.
Cobalt: Part of cobalamin, see vitamin B12
Vitamin B12: Also called cobalamin. Is necessary for methionine formation and the activation of folic acid. In combination with folic acid, vitamin B12 is responsible for supporting DNA synthesis and thus ensures error-free cell division. Vitamin B12 also protects the nerve cells
Copper: An essential trace element for the body that is required for a variety of metabolic processes, such as blood formation and immune response. It is also essential for regular pigmentation of the skin, for the formation of the subcutaneous connective tissue and the protection of nerve cells.
Manganese: Activates important enzymes in energy synthesis and can thus ensure the correct development of muscles and stable bones.
Selenium: In combination with vitamin E, it protects the cell walls from free radicals. Furthermore, a needs-based selenium supply guarantees trouble-free functioning of the muscles.
Zinc: An essential trace element and is responsible for more than 200 enzymes in the organism. Here, zinc can be important either for the synthesis or for the enzyme function itself. In addition, zinc, in conjunction with other trace elements and vitamins, ensures smooth DNA duplication during cell division. The zinc-dependent enzymes include, for example, carbonic anhydrase (acid-base and water balance) and carboxypeptidase (protein digestion). Zinc is also important for the immune response, hormonal balance and the protection of cells against free radicals.
