Description
Elité Hay Flakes is a full-fledged hay substitute made from a molasses-free composition that's low in starch and fructan. The mixture of grass flakes, alfalfa pellets and chopped alfalfa hay is ideal for upgrading the daily hay base ration and for mixing into conventional concentrate feed, which can slow down absorption. In addition, the Elité Hay Flakes in dry form support chewing intensity and the resulting increased salivation.
Feeding recommendation:
Approx. 1-1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day.
To upgrade the basic feed, ration 1.0-2.0 kg per small horse/pony per day or 1.5-3 kg per large horse per day.
Feeding Advice:
For larger feed quantities, older horses, horses with chewing problems and hasty eaters, make sure to soak Elitè Hay Flakes in warm water.
