Stress is the main cause of many physical complaints. Mistakes made when handling the horse or mistakes regarding how to take care of it can lead to behavioural problems that can spoil your riding experience. Since nervousness and lack of concentration can be caused by nutrient deficits, a needs-based diet with an adequate supply of magnesium and trace elements as well as sufficient fibremust be ensured.
Some diets also lack the right amount of nutrients from plants, like natural essential oils, bitter acids and flavonoids. For this reason, this recipe has been compiled using all of these ingredients as well bioactive substances like phytochemicals and special glyconutrients that could have a balancing and positive effect on the nerves.
The No. 16 herbal blend contains selected herbs and roots such as marjoram, carob, passion flower, taiga root, St. John's Wort, liquorice root, lemon verbena, lemon balm and phytochemicals and special glyconutrients. The product is valerian-free.
For competition horses, feed them 4 measuring spoons full on a Sunday evening, then continue with 2 measuring spoons full per day. Stop feeding at the latest on Thursday before a competition in order to meet doping regulations.
- Feed 5 to 10 g per horse per day (approx. 1 to 2 measuring spoons full).
