Description

German packaging: Mn Magan

The Mn Manganese is used to quickly compensate for manganese deficiency in horses. A manganese deficiency can manifest itself as muscle tension, tendon and joint problems, bone decalcification and tendon calcification and the poor healing of broken bones.

  • Organically bound manganese in the form of manganese chelate was chosen due to its optimal availability. The manganese is embedded on a basis of fruit extracts, herbs and spices in food quality. The recipe was developed after years of scientific research.

How can you tell if your horse needs these supplements?

Horses that are deficient in manganese often appear very tense and stiff and tend to have joint and tendon problems. They may also tend toward Equine exertional rhabdomyolysis, over-acidity or laminitis.

They may also experience bone formation disorders or joint deformations.

Pigmentation disorders, which manifest themselves in the increased growth of prickly hair may also be observed in some case cases. Sarcoids can indicate a lack of manganese. Fertility disorders, dental problems and growth disorders can also be attributed to a lack of sufficient manganese.

Mn Manganese

Is free of binding agents, flavourings and additives. It is based on a natural herb and fruit base to ensure the best availability to the body.

The supplement can be used constantly for up to 3 months as this will replenish the manganese reserves that are mainly found in the bones. Make sure your horse also gets enough other trace elements like iron, zinc, copper and selenium.

Stress, high muscle strain, and rapid growth while experiencing deficiencies can increase your horse's manganese needs.

Feeding recommendation:

  • Feed 15 to 30g daily (1 to 2 measuring spoons full)
  • Due to the increased trace element content, please do not feed more than 60g per horse per day.
