Description
Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and can be easily recognised by their bright blue colour. If the surface comes into contact with (air) moisture, surface rust is formed. This tastes sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production. This way the horse foams more and accepts the bit better. The rust changes the colour from blue to silver/grey/brown. If the bit is not used for a while, a thin layer of orange rust can form. It can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
Single broken standard variant. Most of the pressure is on the tabs and sides of the tongue. But pressure can also be felt on the palate.
As a 3-ring bit, this model offers various buckling options. This allows you to change the leverage and regulate the pressure on the neck.
