Description

The heart of the HO riding curb bit is a slightly curved, forward sloping bar, with slightly bevelled transitions to the side pieces. The middle of the horse's tongue is slightly relieved by the adapted shape, which at the same time creates less pressure on the edges of the tongue. When pulling the reins, the pressure is evenly distributed over the entire tongue.

  • Ideally suited for curb bit beginners
  • Ideal for sensitive horses and horses being familiarised with the curb bit

The pressure on the neck is higher due to longer levers and occurs with a slight delay compared to shorter under reins.

Note on the choice of size:
Where the curb bit is buckled in, the horse's mouth is narrower, which is why the curb bit should usually be chosen 1/2 to 1 cm smaller than the pad snaffle. Please make sure that the sides of the bit are close to the corners of the mouth. The chin chain should be buckled so that the curb bit can be accepted up to an angle of approx. 45°.
